I'm working through fixing a book's OCR errors (for the TXT) and formatting issues (for the Epub).
When I finish, is there any way these changes could be applied to the original book listing, or would I have to start a new one?
(Not sure if it's necessary or particularly relevant, but the book is here: https://archive.org/details/handbookofvolap00spra )

the ocr files created on archive.org as part of the derive process contain much more data than any ocr file you are able to generate. that data allows it to be used properly on the site. so the short answer is no.
